What does the Maxaguard Coating System consist of?
 

  • A VOC-free Metal Cleaner for both pre-coating and maintenance, with built-in corrosion/rust protection

  • Low VOC Anti-corrosion/rust primers. Proven best in class metal corrosion protection (Salt Spray test, 12944-6, C5)

  • Topcoat 1K system for increased mechanical resistance

Is the system waterbased?

Yes.

​

What is the level of VOC?

All the Primers & Topcoats have < 50g/liter (< 5% of the total formula).

The Cleaner has no VOC.

Does the coating system contain any heavy metals?

No.

​

Any hazard statements?

No.

​

Does the coating system contain any zinc?

No, the system is 100 % zinc-free.

​

Can the Maxaguard coating system be used on different surfaces?

Yes, there are Primers for all types of metal surfaces.

Carbon, Galvanized, Stainless & aluminum.

Is it possible to get both clear and tinted versions of the Primers?

Yes

What are the typical properties of the system?

Besides conventional heat:
IR, Infrared light can be used on all the Primers & the Topcoat?

UV: Customized Primers for UV curing

Is the system user friendly?

Yes!

  • A water-based system. Very low VOC-emissions

  • 1-component. No blending with hazard isocyanate hardeners

  • Zinc-free. No zinc emissions for end users (no metal fume fever when coating, welding, or cutting)

  • Non flammable

What kind of application methods can be used?
